Empowering graduate students for professional excellence in science writing & communication
To support graduate students in improving their personal and professional English skills, RECON conducts weekly small-group Writing Workshops and Discussion Workshops following a tailored curriculum. Groups typically comprise 3 to 6 members in an open & friendly environment.
Workshop Objectives
- Improve confidence and speed in writing and speaking in English
- Increase control of English grammar mechanics, both written and spoken
- Recognize and eliminate repeated mistakes
- Achieve a more natural tone and delivery for smoother communication
- Organize and present more professional writing
