Empowering graduate students for professional excellence in science writing
To support graduate students in improving their English writing skills, RECON conducts weekly Writing Workshops following a tailored curriculum. Groups typically comprise 3 to 6 members in an open and friendly environment.
Workshop Objectives
- Improve confidence and speed in writing in English
- Increase control of English grammar mechanics
- Find and eliminate repeated mistakes
- Achieve a more natural tone and delivery
- Organize and present more professional writing
- Form a solid understanding of the principles of good writing
- Take power over this necessary skill to maintain autonomy
